What’s on in Liverpool? Here’s 5 things to suit everyone this August
7 years ago
August in Liverpool is shaping up to be pretty epic and whether you’re looking for some festival fun, live music, nightlife or days out with the kids, we’ve got you covered.
It’s officially summer (someone want to tell the weather?!) and we’re all about good times and making memories. With plenty of fun to be had right across the region, we’ve lined up the best of what’s on in Liverpool right here, in one handy guide.
Here’s 5 things to suit everyone this August in Liverpool….
With the kids
1 – A city celebration for all the family at Liverpool Loves
Liverpool Loves returns, bigger and better and with a brand new home on August 5th-6th with a huge family, well being and music offering. Best bit is, it’s totally free.
2 – Fun in the park at Kidsfest, Stanley Park
From baby raves to bouncy castle world and sing-alongs, Stanley Park is the place to be on 30th August as KidsFest kicks off a whole day of free, family fun.
3 –Â Kick about on the waterfront with Football on the Dock, Albert Dock
Are your little ones footy mad? Head down to Mermaid Court at Albert Dock for a free 20 minute coaching session with staff from both Everton in the Community and the LFC Foundation.
4 –Â Scream if you want to go faster at Pier Head Village
Brave enough to take on the three thrill rides at Pier Head Festival? Nope, us neither, but watching others having a go while munching on ice creams, riding the (less scary) fair ground rides and having a kick about on the waterfront is what summers are made of!
5 – K9 frolics at Paw Patrol Live!, Echo Arena
PAW Patrol Live! brings everybody’s favourite pups to the stage for an action-packed, high-energy, musical adventure on 16-17th August. Treat your toddlers and stop by Albert Dock for a bite to eat afterwards. Tickets here.

2 – Raise a glass at the Bombed Out Church Beer & Cider Festival
Treat your better half to a few scoops in a totally unique venue as the Bombed Out Church (St Lukes) Beer and Cider Festival takes place on 3-6th August. Cheers to that! Click here for tickets and info.
3 – Dine under the stars at Allerton Manor, Old Stables Restaurant
One of our absolute fave date destinations has to be Old Stables at Allerton Manor. Grab a light lunch or dine under the stars on the outdoor terrace and tuck into classic British dishes with your loved one. Menus and more here.
4 – Get a taste of Liverpool at Baltic Market, Cains Brewery
Having opened just a matter of weeks ago, Baltic Market is going from strength to strength with its independent food offering, cool drinks, market events and more. Pull up a pew and get a taste for Liverpool. Info and opening hours here.
