World Boxing Championships at the M&S Bank Arena
If you’re a fight fan this is one you won’t want to miss – Liverpool loves being first and now we’re hosting the first ever World Boxing Championships at the Arena, starting this Thursday. There’ll be 10 weight classes for both men and women, which means 20 new world champions crowned after an incredible 10 days of top-class boxing.

Tall Ship at Liverpool Cruise Port

Tall Ships always look magnificent when they’re on the Mersey and this one’s no exception – Peruvian Navy Training Ship B.A.P. Unión is one of the most impressive Tall Ships in the world and not only is it docked here at the Pier Head, you can go on board all day Monday & Tuesday, and Wednesday morning.

Dragon boat race at Liverpool Waters

If you fancy some excitement on the water (watching, not actually taking part) then get down to Princes Dock on Thursday for the Liverpool Waters Dragon Boat Race 2025. Racing starts from 10.30am, it’s all raising money for Claire House Hospice, and Bus Yard will be there serving cocktails, beers and slushes.

SpudBros opening at Queen Square

They’re up there with the world’s most famous jacket spuds, now brothers Jacob and Harley Nelson’s social media sensation SpudBros has landed in Liverpool, taking over the former Costa on Queen Square with its first city centre site. Spud Bros Express opens this Thursday with – 1p spuds from 3.30pm!

Reminisce Festival – Retrospective Festival

The sold out Reminisce Festival is back this Saturday at Sherdley Park St Helens with another fabulous old skool line up, and this year for the first time there’s a Retrospective Festival on Friday 5pm-11pm. It’ll feature performances by Belinda Carlisle, Go West, Roachford, Tiffany, Katrina & The Waves and a DJ set from Martin Kemp plus loads more for a night of pure nostalgia.
