What’s On in Liverpool? Your Guide to the week ahead (7th-13th August 2017)

We’ve got a huge culture fix for you this week as summertime in Liverpool continues with outdoor cinema, roof top gardens and things to make you go mmmmmmm!
We’re back with another jam-packed What’s On in Liverpool Guide and its going to be a busy one. Okay so the weather is a bit hit and miss but that’s not stopping us making the most of the city’s green spaces this week. With Abercromby Square hosting classic film ‘Roman Holiday’ and Pier Head Village lining up another brilliant Sunset Session, dust off your wellies and dance in the rain like no one is watching!

Monday 7th August
Brunch in the City, Cosy Club, Paradise Street
Listen to your mum and get a decent breakfast down you to start your week feeling fresh. We recommend a bite to eat at Cosy Club, Paradise Street. Comfy seats, generous portions and dishes like ham hock hash, cosy eggs and triple-stacked pancakes! What’s not to like! Menus here.

Jonny Bongo Monday Night Quiz One Off Special. Shipping Forecast

Castle Street curb appeal, lunch at Cau

Wednesday 9th August
Scandi hot dogs with a view at HUS, Tithebarn Street
It’s really easy to get about to our listed venues without having to drive too, check out the Better By Bus campaign here and plan your next journey around the Liverpool City Region.
Now from the off we can’t guarantee the weather will be as beautiful as in the weekend pic above, but er how amazing is the view from the HUS rooftop garden? Prick up your ears at FACT, Wood Street
To mark the 50th anniversary of the partial decriminalisation of homosexuality in England and Wales, Picturehouse at FACT is exploring our collective past through a season of exceptional British movies. Gary Oldman and Alfred Molina star as controversial playwright Joe Orton and his partner Kenneth Halliwell and depict the realities of gay life in ’60s London in classic ’80s drama, Prick Up Your Ears.
