What’s on in Southport this February

It might be January but it’s nearly the end of the month, the snow has melted and the days are starting to get a tiny bit longer. Some of us even get paid this weekend.

So, if you’re emerging from your post-festive hibernation there is plenty happening in Southport to keep you busy over the next few weeks.

From comedy bingo nights, two for one afternoon tea, seaside runs, and a movie night with a difference, here are seven reasons to visit Southport.

Enjoy dinner and dancing at the newly renovated Bold Hotel.

The Bold Hotel Southport

Lord Street’s Bold Hotel has undergone an extensive refurbishment for 2024 and the restaurant with new menu will be open from Friday, 26th January.

Not only that the hotel has a number of events to celebrate the end of the January, kicking off with a weekend of tribute nights starting with the music of the Blues Brothers this Friday and a George Michael tribute on Saturday. Both events feature a three-course gala dinner and cost ÂŁ40 per person.

Two for one afternoon tea at The Vincent

The Vincent

Every day between 3pm and 6pm, at The Vincent hotel in Lord Street, you can enjoy a classic afternoon tea of mini sandwiches, scones, and homemade cakes.

Add a glass of fizz to make it a truly decadent day out. Classic afternoon tea is £24, it’s £29 if you add Prosecco and £36 with a glass of champagne.

But be quick! The two for one offer finishes at the end of January and advance booking is required.
