We’re back with your round up of all the biggest and best events happening this week in Liverpool.


Whether you’re already rocking around the Christmas tree or just indulging in a festive tipple, there’s no denying Christmas has arrived in Liverpool. Alongside the ice skating, Yorkshire pudding wraps and trips to see Santa – there’s unmissable music industry events such as Robert Sherdlow at Phase One and the one and only Liam Gallagher plays the M&S Bank Arena too.

Elsewhere our very own Pete Price returns to the stage, The Florist offers Asian inspired small plates with a special offer and Craft Taproom will be there for youuuuu – with a mid week Friends Quiz.

Monday 18th November 2019

Dinner at The Florist, Hardman Street

Get yourself down to the Pier Head this week to be among the first to have a spin on the ice (there’s little penguins for the kids to skate with) or toast the start of Christmas shopping with a tipple in the Alpine Bar, mmmm mulled wine! Tuesday 19th November

Liverpool Christmas Market, St George's Plateau

If you’re visiting the city shopping or even just nipping out for lunch from work, get yourself to the Liverpool Christmas Markets at St George’s Plateau and devour a Christmas Yorkshire pudding wrap – you won’t regret it. Browse the stalls and sip a mulled wine while you wander. More info here. 

Visit Liverpool Cathedral

Liverpool Cathedral is a huge hit with visitors to the city – but when did you last take a wander around its historic halls? Free to enter, housing a fab cafe, shop and top of the tower experience, this gem of the Liverpool skyline is a landmark that keeps on giving. Wednesday 20th November

Pete Price Holds Court, Royal Court Theatre

Our very own Mr. Showbiz, Pete Price makes a welcome return to the Royal Court Theatre this week in Liverpool. Pete Price holds court sees our loveable comic go back to his roots as a compere to work the Studio Space room like a pro! Tickets and more info here. 

Liverpool Jobs Fair, Anfield

Thursday 21st November

Liam Gallagher, M&S Bank Arena

The one and only, arr kid, Liam Gallagher plays the M&S Bank Arena on Thursday night and unsurprisingly – tickets have flown out. This highly anticipated tour date comes off the back of latest album release ‘Why Me, Why Not?’ and an amazing set at Glasto back in the summer. Last remaining tickets here. 

Robert Swerdlow, Phase ONE

The award-winning LIMF Academy presents Industry Insight Sessions – a series of events aimed at highlighting specific roles within the industry, told through the mouths of some of the best in the business. The new initiative is set to launch on Thursday 21st November with acclaimed Liverpool-based music manager, Robert Swerdlow. Find out more here. 

Date Night, El Gato Negro, Exchange Flags

Plan a little pre-weekend date night with your other half this week in Liverpool and head to El Gato Negro. Located on Exchange Flags (formerly The Vincent) this stylish restaurant serves up delicious small plates, cocktails and a lovely atmosphere. Menus and more here. 

Friday 22nd November

Swingers Club, Camp & Furnace

There’s a brand new event happening at Camp & Furnace on Friday and you’re gonna need your dancing shoes. Swingers Club brings an 18 piece Big Band to the Baltic to perform classic swing covers plus some jazzy renditions of the modern stuff too. Tickets and more info here. 

Disco T*ts, The Shipping Forecast

Friday means bevs and disco at The Shipping Forecast as Disco Tits rolls into town with banger after banger on the playlist. Get your ticket and descend into The Hold (basements) to bust some moves like EVERYONE is watching! More info here. 

Singalong The Greatest Showman, New Brighton Floral Pavilion

Saturday 23rd November

Liverpool Print Fair, Camp & Furnace

A visit to the Liverpool Print Fair is a great way to kick start your Christmas shopping. Taking place at Camp & Furnace from 11am until 5pm – you can shop local artists’ work, wander the stalls and its child and dog friendly too. More info here.

Elton John 50 Years of Your Song, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall

Can you believe Elton John’s epic ‘Your Song’ is 50 years old? How is that even possible? You can celebrate half a century of Elton John’s music with a live concert featuring all the hits at the Liverpool Phil on Saturday night. ‘Candle in the Wind’, ‘Rocket Man’ and loads more! Liquidation Blondie V Talking Heads Special

Sunday 24th November

Back to the Future Part II, ODEON Liverpool ONE

Calling all film buffs! Deloreans at the ready. Celebrate the 30th anniversary of Back to the Future Part II with Marty and Doc on the big screen again at ODEON, Liverpool ONE. The screening time is 6pm and tickets must be booked in advance, here.

Doggy Social Winter Party, Tusk Baltic

Tusk Baltic adores dogs! So it’s no surprise to find the bar and eatery is hosting a doggy social Winter Party this Sunday from 11am until 5pm. It’s a free gathering which is pup led so less balloons and hullabaloo – more space by the fire and plenty of tasty treats! Find out more here.
