What’s on this week in Liverpool? (24 February-1 March 2020)

23/02/2020

Everything you need to know about this week in Liverpool is here.

It’s the last week of February and we can almost imagine those sunny Spring days when we won’t need woolly jumpers, windproof jackets and wellies…

Never mind the pancakes, there’s no excuse not to get cookin’ when Global Scouse Day arrives on Friday – and talking of arrivals, our world-famous River Mersey is set to welcome ginormous new aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales along with luxury cruise ship Scarlet Lady this week making it the perfect time to wander down to the waterfront.

Meanwhile, there’s a world film premiere, Burlesque, a terrifying circus, a Hollywood star, award-winning theatre, a Manchester legend, the new Quirky Quarter and a selection of the finest food ever to grace a plate, and whatever you do, don’t forget about those pancakes.
