Get ready to plan a brand new week in Liverpool with these top events and activities.
It’s a big week for sport, comedy and music this week in Liverpool – well, when isn’t it? Liverpool take on FC Salzburg, local lad Adam Rowe, Russell Howard and Olympian Bradley Wiggins are at the M&S Bank Arena. Star Wars gets a big screen showing with a live orchestra, Oktoberfest gets the beers in and it’s World Veggie Day too.
Elsewhere – there’s a tribute to Neil Diamond at Grand Central, Punch Tarmey’s launches its new Live Sessions and the Wales GB Rally takes over the Pier Head. It’s going to be a chokker week!

Monday 30th September
Breakfast at Mann Island Social

An Evening with Bradley Wiggins
The country’s most decorated Olympian, Sir Bradley Wiggins is in conversation with ITV’s Matt Barbett on Thursday night at the M&S Bank Arena. Wales Rally GB Grand Depart
The Pier Head will be petrol head heaven on Wednesday as 59 cars line up to officially begin the Wales GB rally. The Grand Depart event kicks off from 2:30pm and spectators can see the cars, drivers and crews on the waterfront until the timed start begins at 4pm. More info here.Ā
Oktoberfest Baltic Market
Oktoberfest returns to the Baltic Market and in true tradition, there’s a four days of steins and good times on offer. The fun begins on Thursday with the very best beers and entertainment from Berlin to Bootle. All the info here.Ā

Neil Diamond Tribute, Grand Central Hall
