Bongo’s Bingo – Friday Night Special

Boogaloo 1st Birthday


Get down to 24 Kitchen Street this Friday from 10pm-4am to join the Boogaloo 1st Birthday celebrations with Al Sanders aka Lodger, Jon K, Sunny Side Up and of course, Boogaloo. If you’re into funk, disco and soulful house, you wont want to miss this party. Some last minute tickets available here.

Supreme Queen at The Epstein Theatre on  Friday


SUPREME QUEEN have been paying homage to the world’s most theatrical and dramatic Rock band, Queen since 1995, and in that time have had a huge impact on audiences across the UK, Europe and Asia. Laughterhouse Comedy at The Slaughter House

A real comedian’s comedy club, The Slaughter House’s narrow walls have played host to some of the circuit’s biggest names since opening its doors in 2004. This Saturday (14th October) MC Chris Cairns presents international comic Glenn Wool, welsh funny man Lloyd Langford and local-ish lad Kevin Dewsbury to the stage to thrill and delight you! Chibuku daytime party – Camp and Furnace on Saturday


Fancy starting early on Saturday? If so the team at Chibuku Shake Shake have got you covered. Going strong now for over 15 years Chibuku Shake Shake has become one of the essentials for any clubland regular and has developed into one of the most loved and most talked about events in the clubbing calendar. Sister Act at The Empire Theatre

It’s your last chance to see smash hit West End musical, Sister Act at the Empire Theatre this weekend. 1 – The Brunch Club, Hanover Street offers options for vegetarians, vegans and generally just greedy people (like our Kate who has tried every pancake option on the menu) with everything from scrambled eggs to Bloody Mary’s. A great place to warm through, chill with the paper and fill your boots with delicious breakfast fare. Check out the menu here.

2 – The Ship & Mitre, Dale Street is the pub for you if you like a comfy seat, a big old bowl of scouse or a pie and a pint. There’s always a great laid-back atmosphere in The Galley and they’re now also serving breakfast at the weekends! More reason to stay out of the cold! More info and opening times available here.


3 – Almost Famous, Parr Street is like lunch and a treat for the kids rolled into one. With walls and tables adorned with old skool pic’n’mix, you’ll have no trouble getting the little ones to finish their meals or the huge milkshakes on offer here.
