This weekend in Liverpool is all about music, film and a whole load of Christmas cheer!


We’ve got craft beer, live music, twinkly lights, farmers markets, a Polar Adventure and lots more on offer this weekend in Liverpool. Wrap up warm and head to Lark Lane to stock up on local, fresh produce (and cake, obvs) or treat the kids to a ride on the Christmas Express at Liverpool ONE – a Polar Adventure they’ll treasure.

Out and about? The Bombed out Church has a craft beer expo on, The Merchant is keeping it funky while Pop World is going all out with the jingle bells – not literally!

Liverpool Craft Beer Assembly, Bombed Out Church

Making its debut at the Bombed Out Church this weekend, the Liverpool Craft Beer Assembly brings the best craft keg and canned beers from the most forward-thinking Merseyside breweries to this iconic venue. Heated marquee, gin, rum and wine on offer too. Tickets here. 

Live Music Fridays, Punch Tarmey's

Louis Fenny and David Quilliam provide the soundtrack to your Friday night down at Punch Tarmey’s from 6pm. Whether its a pint after work or a big one down the Baltic, kick start your weekend here with drinks offers and a boss atmosphere. More info.

West Derby Christmas Light Switch On with DJ Lee Butler

It’s all down to West Derby Village on Saturday from 2pm as the one and only DJ Lee Butler switches on the christmas lights at 4:30pm. Throughout the afternoon there’s a whole host of stall, choir performances, family fun and plenty of mulled wine and mince pies to be had. Free at attend. More info here. 

Superstition, The Merchant

If you’re trying to avoid a ‘Fairytale of New York’ sing along until at least 1st December, get to the Merchant on Saturday night and keep it funky. Superstition returns with all the classic Motown, funk and soul bangers we know and love. Free entry. More info here. 

Scaramouche, Brick Street

Saturday sees the last Scaramouche of 2019 at Brick Street this weekend in Liverpool. Get your tickets now for a night of House and Tech House music. We’re hearing there’ll be a couple of new tunes premiering at the event too. More info and tickets here. 

Polar Adventure, Liverpool ONE

Head to Chavasse Park this weekend and jump on board the Christmas Express! The fabulous festive treat transport families from Liverpool ONE, direct to the North Pole where its a hive of Christmas activity. Write a letter to Santa, enjoy a hot chocolate, sparkle with face glitter and hear a story before wandering back through the snowmen to Liverpool. More info here. 

Jingle Bell Pop Party, Pop World

Oh what the hell, it’s Christmas! Pop World is getting right into the Christmas spirit (literally) with a weekend long shindig celebrating all things festive. Expect all the xmas tunes, crappy/amazing Christmas jumpers and more. Snog under the mistletoe anyone? Info here. 

Grill Together, Smoke & Dough Liverpool ONE

The Gildergreen is back at Lark Lane Farmers Market on Saturday with a feast of fabulous cake and sweet treats to brighten up your weekend. Love Actually with Live Orchestra, Liverpool Philharmonic

What a perfect Sunday night activity! The Liverpool Philharmonic Hall is putting Love Actually back on the big screen with a live orchestra playing the heart warming soundtrack. There’s literally just a handful of tickets remaining so head this way to get yours.
