Purple Rave, The Merchant
Leave the little red Corvet at home on Saturday night, stick your raspberry beret on and head down to The Merchant, Slater street for a Purple Rave in honour of the pint sized rocker himself, Prince. Three years since his passing, there’s a psychedelic celebration of all things Prince with No Faking DJ’s spinning the greatest hits all night long. Free entry too. More info here.

Funky Club, Camp & Furnace
It’s the last Friday of the month which means only one thing! All down to Camp & Furnace for the return of Friday Funk from 9pm. This feast of funk, soul and Motown is reminiscent of the Craig Charles club nights that always sell out so do yourself a favour and soak up the cool vibes, belt out those lyrics and get low down and funky this Friday. To Pick Up Some Prints
Liverpool Print Fair, Bluecoat
Liverpool Print Fair brings together the region’s (and UK’s) most talented artists to sell their original and unique work at the Bluecoat this Saturday. From 10:30am until 5pm you can wander the stalls or artists, illustrators, printmakers and designers all selling affordable art that will brighten and spruce up any home or work space. For The Love of Wrestling makes its scouse debut this weekend and if you’re into your WWE/WWF big names, you’re gonna love this. The Undertaker, Brett the Hitman Hart, The Brooklyn Brawler, Nature Boy Ric Flair, they’re all making a comeback to meet fans in Liverpool this Saturday and Sunday.
