Who won what at the Liverpool Food & Drink Festival Awards 2018?

The winners of the Liverpool Food and Drink Festival Awards were revealed last night (25 September) during a prestigious awards ceremony, which took place at Silk Rd.

Many of the biggest names in the city’s food and drink industry came together for the annual awards, which are decided by public vote and are the finale of Liverpool Food and Drink Festival. The evening, sponsored by Quandoo, was hosted by our very own Guide Liverpool presenters Jay Hynd and Claire Simmo.

During the awards ceremony, Andrew Duckworth of Dockside Dining scooped the award for Outstanding Contribution to Liverpool’s Food and Drink Scene, while Amalia was voted Best Restaurant and The Florist picked up the gong for Best Bar / Pub.

The rest of the winners crowned during last night’s celebrations include:

  • Little Furnace – Best Family Hangout
  • Crazy Pedros – Best Interior Styling
  • Brooklyn Brewery – Top Tipple
  • Treatie Pie – Street Food King / Queen
  • Rockin Buddha – Best Free From Offering
  • Cowfish Smokehouse – Best Social Media Presence
  • Lemon Shakers – Favourite Place to Shop at Liverpool Food and Drink Festival

Isabella Kantor, Festival Manager at Liverpool Food and Drink Festival, said: “The awards are a real celebration of all the talented people who make the city’s food and drink scene so great.

“Huge congratulations to all the winners and a big thank you to everyone who took the time to vote in the awards, which conclude the eleventh Liverpool Food and Drink Festival. We look forward to returning with our next event in 2019.”

The Liverpool Food and Drink Festival Awards have long been considered a highlight on the events calendar for those involved in the city’s food and drink sector.

Liverpool Food and Drink Festival is set to return to Sefton Park in 2019. Visit www.liverpoolfoodanddrinkfestival.co.uk for further formation.
