Win the Ultimate Valentine’s Day at the Albert Dock

Love is in the air this Valentine’s Day at the Albert Dock.

Steeped in both history and style, and boasting beautiful views of Liverpool’s iconic waterfront, Royal Albert Dock Liverpool is the historic heart of the city, offering an impressive selection of shops and restaurants, with a truly romantic backdrop.

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, the Dock will be spreading the love this February with a series of random acts of kindness, along with an incredible one-off competition for the ultimate Valentine’s prize.

The Valentine’s competition will offer one winner a memorable Royal Albert Dock experience to be enjoyed over Valentine’s weekend. This includes a two-night stay at the Holiday Inn Express, £150 to spend on a delicious meal at a Dock restaurant of their choice, a private champagne tour of the Léger exhibition at Tate Liverpool, plus a goodie bag brimming with all sorts of treats. The goodie bag will include beautiful personalised leather notebooks from Leather Satchel Company, and limited edition Valentine candles from Owen Drew’s Romeo & Juliet inspired collection, amongst plenty of other gifts.

In the lead up to the competition, Dock visitors can enjoy a number of random acts of kindness, starting with beautiful red roses. On selected weekends* throughout February, roses will be handed out throughout the Dock quays, which can be kept as a gift, or kindly passed on to a loved one or friend. Labels attached to the roses will also have details of the Valentine’s competition and how to enter.

Inspired by Chinese New Year, on the weekends of the 9-10th and 16-17th February, fortune cookies will also freely be given out to anyone passing through the Dock. Many of these cookies have been personally filled with love from the diverse mix of Dock restaurants, bars and shops, to swap the classic fortunes for a number of great prizes.

For those lucky enough to get their hands on a customised cookie, prizes include treats from Rough Hand Made, Puffle Waffle and Costa Coffee, hand crafted goods from Leather Satchel Company and the Nest, along with giveaways from Beatle’s Story, Revolucion de Cuba, Miller & Carter, Smugglers Cove, Gusto, Lunyalita and Tate Liverpool.

The Dock itself will also be dressed to impress throughout February, with atmospheric red lights illuminating the Martin Luther King building, red filters on the main walkways, and decorative crimson flags throughout the inner quay, spreading the love throughout the Royal Albert Dock.
