Christmas
Wirral Bazaar returns this November, supporting North West Cancer Research with festive shopping
2 months ago
The much-loved Wirral Bazaar is set to return this festive season, offering Christmas shoppers a fantastic opportunity to find the perfect gifts for their loved ones while supporting a great cause.
North West Cancer Research’s Wirral Bazaar will take place on 4 and 5 November at Hulme Hall in Port Sunlight.
The Bazaar will feature plenty of seasonal offerings, including handmade gifts, delicious food and drink not found on the high street, plus fabulous festive entertainment.
Launched more than 30 years ago at the popular Walled Garden Marquee at Thornton Manor, the Wirral Bazaar has raised more than ÂŁ620,000 for North West Cancer Research, helping to fund vital work towards tackling the cause, finding the cure, and improving treatment for cancer.
Sadly, due to circumstances at Thornton Manor, the charity was forced to move the event to Chester Racecourse in 2022.
Carol Kirkham, Head of Fundraising at North West Cancer Research, said:
âWe are delighted to be back on the Wirral for this yearâs event. It is the original home of the Wirral Bazaar, and we hope to stay here for many more years to come!
âThe Wirral Bazaar has become a regular fixture in diaries for those wanting to find a unique gift for Christmas and to get in the festive spirit.
âEach year, weâre thrilled to welcome back businesses to showcase their unique gifts, and weâre always excited to bring on board brand-new stalls to ensure that shoppers can enjoy a fresh experience.
âWe canât wait to hold this yearâs event in the beautiful Hulme Hall, and we look forward to seeing both returning and new faces picking up their Christmas treats!â
The Wirral Bazaar takes place at Hulme Hall, Port Sunlight on Monday, November 4, 2pm-9pm, and Tuesday, November 5, 9.30am-3pm.
Tickets are ÂŁ5 each, with all proceeds going directly to North West Cancer Research, while profits from the cafe, and 10% of takings from over 55 carefully selected stalls will also be donated to the charity.
There will be free parking at the venue.
