Burnt Truffle, the Wirral’s favourite neighbourhood bistro, will be hosting a Wine Dinner on Friday 22nd March, in collaboration with Liberty Wines.
The restaurant, whose fans include Sir Paul McCartney, will be offering a tasting menu and paired wines from top wine importer and wholesaler, Liberty Wines. The evening will be hosted by Elite Bistros’ chef proprietor, Gary Usher, and Jem Cowan of Liberty Wines.
The menu will feature a selection of indulgent courses and expertly chosen wines, such as; glazed pig cheek, buttered parsnips and caraway paired with 2015 El Coto Garnacha; sirloin of beef with wild garlic butter and leek mornay paired with 2017 Bodegas Garzon and doughnuts, blood orange cream, celery granita and almonds paired with 2018 Contero, Moscato d’Asti di Strevi.
General Manager, Cris Slocombe, comments: “We’re very excited to be welcoming Gary and Jem back to Burnt Truffle for our next wine dinner. We’ve created a really special menu and the matching wines are exceptional. We look forward to welcoming guests for what promises to be an unforgettable dining experience.”
