X Factor hopeful and all-round top scouser, Gary Barker boards the Love Train in Liverpool

He’s getting plenty of practise in ahead of the X Factor boot camp and today Gary Barker went on a little journey around the region with Merseyrail.

If you happened to be on the train to Maghull this afternoon you might have gotten a private audience with our X Factor boot camp contestant Gary Barker as his soulful tones belted out O’Jay’s track ‘Love Train’….some passengers even had a little boogie too.

Watch above as Gary chats with our Jay after his phenomenal audition at the Titanic hotel infront of judges, Simon, Sharon, Louis and Nicole. Known for gigging around the city, and his silky, smooth voice, Gary is about to embark on a musical journey like no other as he takes on intense competition to be crowned as this years X Factor winner. We reckon with his down to earth nature, brilliant sense of humour and reputation for getting his kit off…..alongside his incredible voice, Gary can go all the way!
