Scruffy Murphy’s Liverpool have teamed up with Ripples to celebrate Jurgen Klopp.
Scruffy Murphy’s on Harrington Street have teamed up with Ripples to offer fans of Guinness and Liverpool Football Club’s, soon to be departed, boss Jurgen Klopp, something a little different in their pint of the black stuff !Â
The selfie in foam is made with a natural malt extract that is added to the top of the beer.
The visage, made of malt, is drinkable and shouldn’t hinder the iconic flavour of your Guinness. The gimmick is made possible by Ripples technology, which uses 3D printer mechanics with ink jet printing.
A spokesperson for Harrison’s Bar Group said:
“Ripples is known for offering brands the possibility to create unique, personalised consumer experiences by printing image or photo content onto foam-topped beverages. Guinness is a big seller for us at Scruffy Murphy’s and we are thrilled to partner with Ripples for the STOUTie launch in Liverpool. Everyone, well the red side of the city anyway, were in a state of shock last week when Jurgen Klopp made his announcement to retire at the end of this current season. We decided to offer fans of the mighty reds something a little different with their favourite tipple. A Jurgen Norbert Klopp image in their pint of Guinness.”
Guinness is an Irish dry stout that originated in the brewery of Arthur Guinness at St. James’s Gate, Dublin, Ireland, in 1759. It is one of the most successful alcohol brands worldwide, brewed in almost 50 countries, and available in over 120.
It is the best-selling alcoholic drink in Ireland where Guinness & Co. Brewery makes almost €2 billion worth of beer annually.
The STOUTie Jurgen Klopp experience is now available in Scruffy Murphy’s on Harrington Street in Liverpool City Centre.
