Sunseekers in the North West now have even more options for a winter escape, as easyJet and easyJet holidays have launched their first-ever flights and package holidays from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Fuerteventura.

The brand-new service took off today and will operate every Wednesday throughout the year from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, offering direct access to one of the most sought-after destinations in the Canary Islands. 

Fuerteventura, is the second biggest of the Canary Islands and famous for its stunning white-sand beaches and year-round sunshine, making it the perfect destination for beach lovers and sun seekers.

The island offers a variety of water sports, including surfing, windsurfing, and kiteboarding, thanks to its strong winds creating excellent wave conditions.  

Fuerteventura also boasts a dramatic volcanic landscape with handy hikes , providing great opportunities for to explorie its unique rugged natural beauty.

easyJet first started flying from Liverpool in 1997 and now bases seven aircraft at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, with an eighth due to arrive in May this year.
