Located in the Cains Brewery Village, the over 18s crazy golf venue is hosting its biggest birthday bash yet and will be offering a complimentary round of golf for guests on a walk-in basis between 3pm and 1am.
The multi-award-winning brand has experienced significant company growth since it was first founded in 2016 by local friends and business partners Kip Piper and Danny Bolger.
The pair constructed an 18-hole course and bar within an unused warehouse and now, Ghetto Golf welcomes over 2,700 visitors a week.
Kip said: “It’s been three fantastic years since Ghetto Golf first made its mark in the Baltic Triangle and what better way to celebrate than by inviting the people of Liverpool to have a game on us.
“Over the years, we’ve welcomed a significant amount of people through our doors, serving over 4,850 cocktails a week at our bar. As part of our Birthday Bash, we want to say thank you to our loyal customers and encourage people that haven’t visited us yet to come down and give it a go, whether that’s with friends, colleagues or family. Ghetto Golf has become an integral part of the city, attracting locals and tourists alike with a one-of-a-kind experience that combines risqué golf with cocktails, music and street art and we’re so proud of what we have achieved as a team.”
In a bid to become the UK’s largest adults-only leisure attraction, Ghetto Golf has opened additional locations in Birmingham’s Custard Factory and Newcastle’s Hoults Yard. To facilitate demand for new holes and experiences, the business established its HQ in Liverpool’s Brunswick Business Park, with almost every element of each course designed and built on the site.
Now with a workforce of over 185 people behind it, Ghetto Golf has further plans for expansion in 2020.
Danny added: “It’s been great to see how Ghetto Golf has evolved over the years to become what it is now. Liverpool was our original site where we were able to bring our concept to life and as part of that, we kickstarted a movement within this part of the city, which has seen the Baltic Triangle area go from strength to strength.
“We really wanted to go big to celebrate this momentous milestone in our business with the biggest giveaway we’ve ever done.”
Ghetto Golf will be hosting its Birthday Bash including free golf for walk-ins only between 3pm and 1am on December 9.
