You can take part in a LEGO walk for Cash for Kids
2 years ago
Following the success of the Cash for Kids Fire Walk last year, the team have decided to go bigger and better and are hosting Cash for Kids’ first ever Lego Walk!
The event will be held on the 24th August at Hickory’s Smokehouse West Kirby and you can sign up to take part and raise much needed funds for disadvantaged children Merseyside.
There will be two events running on the day, the first is a family friendly event in the morning where children over aged 5 can get involved, there will be games, Courage the Cat and afterwards the little ones can enjoy a complimentary movie and snacks at the Hickory’s cinema.
Cash for Kids are also looking for workplaces to take part and book in a team building activity over the summer, or individuals and groups of friends to take part in Lego Walk Extreme!
You will be provided with a complementary welcome drink, training from professionals on how to step on Lego safely. You will then walk across the Lego catwalk and then be treated to a complementary Hickory’s Smokehouse platter, this comes on an individual plate, no sharing needed . Radio City Breakfast Show presenters Leanne and Scott will be there on the day taking part too.
The event is free of charge, and you can set up a sponsorship page on the Cash for Kids platform and share this with friends, family and colleagues and ask them to sponsor you with a minimum target of £250 per person.
The individual Lego Walker who raises the most money by the end of the Lego Walk will be announced on the day and will be provided with the star prize which is a Hickory’s at Home platter delivered to their address once a month for six months.
A spokesperson from Cash for Kids said:
“As you know, we work all year-round raising funds to support our local children and young people, but unfortunately this year our demand has grown at an unprecedented amount due to the social living crisis we find ourselves living in, every penny you can raise in sponsorship will enable us to continue our support to local children and young people.
