Hey you guys!!
Can you believe everybody’s favourite adventure film turns 33 years old this year? The Goonies was released way back in 1985 and brought in a staggering £61.5 million in box office sales worldwide. And if like us, you weren’t quite old enough to catch it at the cinema, then now is your chance.
Geeks That Don’t Want To Grow Up are bringing us a special 35mm screening to the Picturehouse at FACT on Wood Street on Thursday 12th April and some tickets are still available.
The Goonies tells the story of two brothers and their mates who stumble across an old treasure map. We all know what happens next, and if you don’t – where have you been?
Cult classic characters like Sloth, Chunk and the evil Mama Fratelli have kept the movie alive all of these years and new generations continue The Goonies frenzy even now.
The screening starts at 9pm and tickets are prices at £12.95, you can book yours here.
