Liverpool’s newest and tastiest dedicated buttermilk fried chicken restaurant have got your lunch time sorted.

Yard & Coop in the Hanover Street side of Liverpool ONE has launched a new £5 lunch menu, for all those chicken lovers that need their mid-week buttermilk fix.

The Home of Buttermilk Fried Chicken has launched a new mouth-watering menu offering a variety of different dishes, including veggie options. Every dish on the menu at the Hanover Street Restaurant is as cheap as chips at the bargain price of £5.

Carl Morris, owner of Yard & Coop, comments: “As The Home of Buttermilk Fried Chicken, we understand that the people of Liverpool need to get their chicken fix as much as possible.

“Our £5 mid-week menu means that when you get a hankering for the bird, you can come down with your work mates, classmates or friends on your day off or during your work break and treat yourself to some Yard & Coop, without breaking the bank.”

Not only is it time to ditch the soggy sandwiches and head down to Yard & Coop for your guilt free lunch every Monday to Friday. The folks over at Yard & Coop are super excited about the next Bank Holiday so to celebratethis Friday (28 April) the restaurant is throwing it back twenty years with a themed night all about the 90s.

Expect special edition 90s cocktails, music throwbacks all the way from the early 90s to just before the millennium, not to mention the chance to relive your youth with a PlayStation One game off.

So grab your tamagotchi, Nike Air Max trainers and your fave shell suit (diners in fancy dress gain extra points) and head down to Yard & Coop, Hanover Street on Friday 28 April from 5pm for the Home of Buttermilk Fried Chicken’s 90’s Throwback Party.

Thai Thighter Burger

Buttermilk fried chicken thigh, brioche bun, far out slaw, peppers, lettuce, tomato and homemade Korean sauce

Sriracha Mayo Chicken Kebab

Buttermilk fried chicken thigh, mixed salad, tomato, red onion, served in an open pitta bread with spicy sriracha mayo and chips

Hip Hop Halloumi Wrap

Not chicken nuggets, mixed salad, tomato, red onion, cucumber and peppers with sweet chilli sauce. Served in a wrap with chips.

Buttermilk Chicken Salad

Buttermilk fried chicken thigh with cos lettuce, chicory, mint and chilli in our buttermilk and lemon zest dressing

Chicken and Chip Butty

Buttermilk fried chicken thigh with Monterey jack cheese and chips in a bun. With a choice of curry sauce or homemade chicken gravy.
