Young Liverpool Entrepreneur Organises Live Music Fundraiser For Alder Hey
7 years ago

It’s #CharityTuesday and we’re absolutely chuffed to be sharing a story of a young Liverpool woman who has organised a belting night of entertainment in aid of Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
Andrea Heffernan, (pictured above) who volunteers at the hospital in her spare time, decided to put together the event and called upon her contacts in the music and fashion industry to support and perform at the Kingdom nightclub this Thursday.
The night will bring some of the best upcoming artists in Liverpool together under one roof, with appearances from the likes of Janiece Myers, Aydoe Soul and Kelly Flanagan.
Liverpool’s own Mabel Doll Fashion label will be kicking off the show with a catwalk showcasing their brand new AW16 collection.
Hosting the event on the night will be Mixed Martial Artist and CWFC Featherweight Champion, Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett. Following his championship win in front of a hometown crowd at the Echo Arena, the sky seems to be the limit for the 21-year-old Liverpudlian and Andrea is pleased that he is taking the time to host the fundraiser.
Andrea said: “I’m really looking forward to the event and can’t wait to bring everybody from Liverpool together for a really great cause. This won’t be your typical concert – having the catwalk and Paddy hosting things will certainly spice things up!”

Other special guests from the world of combat sports include boxing’s Team GB Olympian Anthony Fowler and up and coming star Marcel Braithwaite.
Andrea has been hard at work promoting the event and has even had the likes of Craig David supporting the event via her social media.
The event will take place on Thursday 13th October at Kingdom in Liverpool and tickets can be bought for £5 in advance from Resurrection on Bold Street, Lucca Fashions on Renshaw Street or on 07760 947626. Doors will open at 6:30pm and the show will start at 7pm.
We urge you all to grab a ticket and show your support for a brilliant cause. You can find out more on the Lyrical Liverpool Pages here: Facebook and Instagram.
