How on earth is it May already? We’ve obviously been having way too much fun to notice that 2017 is absolutely motoring past!

Luckily the fun continues this week as Your Guide Liverpool lines up a stellar week for foodie lovers, cocktail drinkers, booty shakers and festival goers alike! Bank Holiday fun continues on both sides of the Mersey, The Vamps will be rocking the Echo Arena, Steam on the Dock returns to Albert Dock at the weekend and the Liverpool Tattoo Convention celebrates its 10th anniversary too. Tuesday 2nd May

Hey Snake Hips! It’s Salsa & Social at The Magnet

You’ve told us that the Salsa Social at The Magnet is awesome, and now we wanna go too! With sessions for beginners (like us) and those with Patrick Swayze-esque snake hips to strut their stuff, we reckon we’ll be ready for ‘The Lift’ by the next Bank Holiday! Tuesday Night Tipple at The Restaurant Bar & Grill, Brunswick Street

It’s been a long week so far……no wait it’s only Tuesday! Oh well, you’ve made it this far and we think you deserve a cocktail! The Liverpool Tattoo Convention celebrates its 10th anniversary at The Britannia Adelphi Hotel this weekend with more than 250 artists, live music, live performances and competitions to get involved in. The Vamps at Echo Arena

Steam on the Dock returns to Albert Dock

Steam on the Dock is one of the UK’s only inner-city steam rallies and this year the family-friendly event will see more than 30 steam engines, boats and even a train making the Dock their home on Saturday, May 6th and Sunday May 7th – that’s double the amount that visited in 2016! Lace Up for a Personal Best at the Liverpool Spring Races at Sefton Park

This weekend Sefton Park will be teaming with runners as the Liverpool Spring 10k, 5k and kids 1k kicks off on Saturday morning. All 1000 places for the kids 1k have now been taken but you can still register to take part in the 5k on Saturday and 10k on Sunday here. Great atmosphere, medals and t-shirts!

Cinderella: My First Ballet, Liverpool Empire Theatre
