50 years after its initial commission, Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker will introduce Pierre Henry’s The Liverpool Mass, presented by Bluecoat at the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King. This pioneering work was developed by acclaimed composer Henry for the Cathedral’s inaugural mass in 1967. Sadly Henry was unable to complete it in time, and another work was substituted. We’ve absolutely no idea what to expect here but we’re intrigued enough to go along and find out! Tickets and details here.

We had the pleasure of sampling the Beef Roast Dinner at The Dovey, (Formerly The Dovedale Towers) Penny Lane last weekend and the portion sizes are impressive!
