1 – Sonic Yootha returns to 24 Kitchen Street
Sonic Yootha returns to 24 Kitchen Street on Friday for its ‘Impossible Princess’ night filled with 1997 flashbacks. Incredible music, sights and atmosphere, this might just be the club night of the weekend! Don’t miss it. More here.
2 – Pop Quiz & Disco at Camp & Furnace
Prepare to flex your musical muscles as the Sounds Familiar Music and Disco quiz returns to Camp & Furnace on Friday night. Rounds this week include Girl Power, Ibeefa, GoT This, Michael’s Mash Ups, Off The Top Of My Head, Noughtie But Nice, Live Forever, 3 Is The Magic Number. Get your tickets and be a winner here.
3 – The Hummingbirds play Arts Club
The Hummingbirds play their last Liverpool gig of the year this weekend at the East Village Arts Club. Having smashed the It’s Liverpool stage at LIMF earlier this summer the band invite you to ‘get some tickets and come jam with us’ on Saturday from 7. More info here.
4 – Tainted Love in the Baltic Triangle
There’s free entry and Babycham for the first 50 through the door of Camp & Furnaces’ Tainted Love, 80’s party this Saturday night. Kicking off from 10pm expect to the sounds of David Bowie, Blondie, Michael Jackson, Boy George, George Michael, Culture Club, Soft Cell, Madonna, Prince, Depeche Mode, Fleetwood Mac and more. 5 – Fusion Festival, Otterspool
You’ve got your tix, the weather looks boss (compared to last year) and the line up is phenomenal! Who’s heading down to Otterspool to spend their weekend bopping round at Fusion as Take That, Ella Henderson, The Vamps, Jax Jones, JP Cooper, Ella Eyre take to the HUGE stage for two days of pop? 6 – Friday Fiesta at Revolucion De Cuba
Albert Dock is the place to be on Friday night if you’re up for a little fiesta time! Revolucion De Cuba are getting the part started early by offering 3 tapas dishes for £14 and 2-4-1 cocktails from 3pm! Feathers and bikinis are optional. Find out more here.
7 – Musicians Against Homelessness at Hanger 34
Theres a weekend of brilliant live music lined up at Hangar 34 as Musicians Against Homelessness kicks off on Saturday. Some of the best local talent take to the stage from 12pm, expect Xam Volo, Timo Tierney, She Drew the Gun and more with all proceeds going towards helping the homeless community. Tickets here.
8 – World Cup Qualifiers, F1 and Super League action at Bierkeller
Tonnes of sporting action can be found on the screens across the Bierkeller Complex at Liverpool One this weekend as Shooters Sports Bar (one of three bars under the one roof) gets ready for a big weekend. The Italian Grand Pix qualifying and race will be shown alongside Aviva Premiership action, World Cup qualifyers and Super League too. Check out listings here.
9 – Sunday Funday at CIRCO

10 – Fancy the Flicks?
There’s a number of unmissable Hollywood blockbusters showing in cinemas at the mo and if you’ve survived a summer full of kids films (EMOJI movie though?) you deserve to settle down with a huge bucket of popcorn and chill. 11 -Pilsner and Prosecco on the slopes at Porky’s Ski Hutte
Fancy a bit of late night apres ski action? Porky’s Ski Hutte is open until 4am on Saturdays and with the freshest Pilsner from the city’s only Pilsner Urquel and the maddest DJ (in full ski suit and goggles) why would you finish up your night out anywhere else?
