February half term in Liverpool is finally here and we can’t wait to get out into the fresh air and shake off the school run routine. It’s a bumper week with Pancake Day, Valentine’s Day and of course Chinese New Year so there’s plenty of tasty, outdoor and culture-packed fun to be had, right across the city region. Whether you’re looking for a toddler friendly music session or flipping good fun on pancake day, comic book geekery or a full on family rave with none other than Lee Butler, we’ve got your half term in Liverpool, sorted!

Chinese New Year 2018
The Chinese New Year celebrations begin with a preview event on Saturday 10th Feb at 1pm as a Dragon & Lion Parade snakes through the city streets ahead of the traditional China Town based celebrations on 16-18th Feb. Click here for all the info and plan your own Chinese New Year Party.
Saturday Makers Club, Toxteth Library
Paper circuits are an excellent way to start learning about circuitry and electronics and you can create your own at Toxteth Library on Saturdays from 10-12:30pm. More info here.
Chinese New Year Craft and the Terracotta Warriors, World Museum

Visiting Victorians at Speke Hall
Step back in time this half term and follow in the footsteps of Victorian visitors to Speke Hall. Make your own lantern and follow the spooky trail around the mansion. Free for under 5’s this activity runs daily until 25th Feb. More info here.

Valentine’s Disco at Sound, Duke Street
Sound, Duke Street are hosting a kids Valentine’s Disco from 1-4pm on Wednesday 14th February in a bid to wear the little ones out so you can enjoy a quiet night in later on! More info and tix here.
Half Price Half Term at Knowsley Safari Park

Chinese New Year Craft at Victoria Museum & Gallery

Stop Motion Animation Camp, North Docks

Toddler Tunes, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Hall
Take your toddlers along to the Phil for a 45 minute session where they become the conductor. Using songs and games to help children develop their musicianship and creativity, this Valentine’s Day session stars at 10am. Info and booking here.
