It’s just days until the biggest festive fun run in the world takes over our city, who’s coming?
Back for it’s 14th year, the Annual Liverpool Santa Dash kicks off at 9:30am on Sunday 3rd December at the Pier Head. Teaming up with Radio City, the Santa Dash, organised by BTR Liverpool brings together thousands of runners, families and friends (and dogs) to run, walk, body pop, skip…whatever.. around the 5k, city centre course, and this year the event is supporting Claire House Children’s Hospice as it’s charity, so you’re running for an amazing cause too!
Whether you’re donning a Santa suit and taking part, supporting someone running or just heading into town to soak up the atmosphere, here’s everything you need to know about the Liverpool Santa Dash 2017…….
Ready, Set, Dash!
Online entry to the Liverpool Santa Dash 2017 is now closed however you can register in person at St John’s Shopping Centre. Just head upstairs to the unit next to Wilko’s and you can collect your Santa Suit and race number at the same time, more details here. . On the Wirral? No worries, you can pop into the BTR Headquarters in Heswall and do the same there, address details here.
Oh and sorry to upset any Everton fans but all the blue Santa suits have now been allocated. Soz
Road Closures, Parking and Getting Around
It’s really easy to get to the Santa Dash start line on the Pier Head, with James Street Merseyrail station just a hop, skip and dash away. Alternatively, buses from across the region can get you to Queen Square and Liverpool ONE bus stations or check out parking at Queen Square, Albert Dock and Princes parade. Taking part in the annual Liverpool Santa Dash is only half the fun, coming down to watch the spectacle is a great way to start a fun day out in the city, and there’s so many ways to continue the party atmosphere, wearing your Santa suit and finishers medal with pride!
After Santa Dash Bash, The Club House, Liverpool ONE
Why not treat yourself to a well earned rest at The Lodge? If anyone deserves a full Christmas dinner in a Yorkshire pudding wrap, it’s a hungry Santa! Get yourself over to St George’s Hall and take a wander around more than 40 stalls serving up sweet treats, gifts, delicious street food and of course a decent pint! More info here.

Have you ever seen Santa ice skate? We bet you will on Sunday as the Liverpool Christmas Ice Festival opens for another fun filled day and night of delicious food and snacks, ice bar shots, thrill rides (including the brand new bob sleigh and ice slide) and of course a chance to twirl about on the ice!
