Zip World North Wales has been transformed into the Ffear Fforest Halloween extravaganza
4 years ago
Zip World in North Wales has undergone a horror filled transformation ready for the socially distanced Ffear Fforest Halloween extravaganza.
Zip World, the popular playground for adventure loving families which is located just an hour away from Liverpool, has come to the rescue of thrill seekers looking for a socially distanced Halloween night out.Â
The adventure attraction at Zip World Fforest, which boasts all kinds of adrenaline filled activities including Zip Safari, Treetop Nets and the adrenaline-filled Skyride, is undergoing a transformation this Halloween to make way for Ffear Fforest – the spookiest, socially-distanced Halloween experience in the North West and North Wales.
Evil clowns, zombies, ghosts, ghouls and other creatures of the night will be hiding under the cover of darkness as visitors make their way through Europeâs longest sky net walkway and face rides including the âcursed costerâ and the popular âscream rideâ. Daredevils can also try ânightfallâ – a body-shaking and terrifying 100ft drop through a trapdoor.
Social distancing does nothing to reduce the fear of Zip Worldâs Ffear Fforest which is returning for its third year and is set to be bigger and better than ever before.
The Halloween attraction, set in a forest in the Welsh countryside, has been described as one of the best events of its kind in the UK. Visitors get the chance to spend the entire evening in the forest with a night pass that grants access to the Cursed Coaster and The Nets.
Ffear Fforest’s activities include:
THE NETS: A trampoline-style treetop extravaganza will see you escaping the hoard of runaway clowns, as they chase you from chamber to chamber. You can run, but you most certainly canât hide in this vast arena.
CURSED COASTER: Ascend 365m through the dark forest on your own cart, creeping further and further from civilisation on this rollercoaster-style experience. Hold your nerve as youâre faced with the undead circus-dwellers that have long since been forgotten, before making your escape back down the mountain, twisting and turning along the gravity-fuelled track. Speed back down for a quick exit, or silently and stealthily return, using the breaks provided.
NIGHTFALL: Drop 100ft through a trapdoor on Nightfall this Halloween, if you dare. Will the killer clowns be waiting for you at the bottom, or will you survive the drop?
SCREAMRIDE: It will send you and your friends flying through the forest at the dead of night on Screamride. But will anyone hear you scream in the dark?

Zip World’s Sean Taylor said:
“Ffear Fforest is one of the most exciting, adrenalin-filled nights out anyone can have. We’ve invested to make it even better for 2020 and have implemented strict social distancing and safety measures to make it possible.
“Social distancing does nothing to reduce our spookiest event of the year. Ffear Fforest is a spookfest in the great outdoors.”
Thrill-seeking people and families can enjoy the scariest Halloween night of their lives between 23rd – 31st October. The attraction is massively popular so Zip World is urging people to book early to avoid disappointment.
