Fireworks night is just around the corner and there are bonfires and displays galore in and around Merseyside over the next week to make your night go with a bang.
Here are 10 firework displays around Merseyside you need to check out.
Southport Rugby Club
The Southport Rugby Club, in Waterloo Road, will hold its annual display on Friday 3rd November from 6pm – 11pm, with last entry at 8pm.
There will be food from the club kitchen and outdoor BBQ, bouncy castles, sweet stalls, ice cream stands and a bar. There will also be live music after the fireworks.
Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets range from £6 for an advance to £22 for a family and you can get them here.
Southport Pleasureland
The Day of the Dead festival will run from Friday 3rd-Sunday 5th November and promises to be bigger and better than ever.
Running over three evenings, a flavour of Mexico will come alive once again at Pleasureland. The park will be festooned with brightly coloured sugar skulls creating a fabulous fiesta atmosphere. The evening will consist of a whole host of acts and entertainment from drummers, fire eaters, Mexican Dances, live music and much, much more; all taking place on the new central stage.
Each evening will conclude with the stunning firework finale.
Tickets are all inclusive this year, meaning guests will have unlimited access to rides all night too.

Trinity St Peter’s community firework display, Formby
Starting at 4pm, on Thursday 2nd November, this event will feature face painting, a tuck shop, toffee apples, doughnuts, hot drinks and a bar. Gates will close at 6.15pm with the fireworks display starting at 6.45pm.
Tickets cost £6 each, with children under two free.
All proceeds raised go back to supporting the school in Liverpool Road. Please keep in mind there is no parking on site and street parking is limited.

Charity Firework Spectacular and bonfire party, Cricket Path Formby
This popular bonfire and fireworks night, hosted by Formby Scouts of St Peter’s Church, starts at 6pm on 4th November, with the bonfire lit at 6.30pm.
There will be fireworks at 7.30pm, with refreshments available.
Entry is cash only and costs £3 for adults, £2 for children with a family ticket for £10.
There is no parking at the cricket club and parking is limited in local roads. No advanced tickets available.
Hightown Cricket Club
Hightown Cricket Club are holding their annual fireworks display and bonfire on 5th November from 6.30pm.
The event will start with fire dancing at 6.30pm and the bonfire will be lit at 7.15pm before the fireworks at 7.30pm.
The club bar will be open with hot food, BBQ and an ice cream van.

Ormskirk Cricket Club
Ormskirk Cricket Club Bonfire and Fireworks Night will take place on Saturday 4th November from 4.30pm.
The bonfire will be lit at 5.30pm with fireworks at 7.30pm and entertainment from DJ Baz Todd.
There will be food from Square Leg Catering, Tandoor-i, Scottabocca Pizza and more.

Halton Fireworks Display
Get ready for a dazzling display when Halton’s fireworks spectacular on Sunday November 5th is launched from the Silver Jubilee Bridge.
The build-up will start at 6.30pm from the viewing areas on the promenades at West Bank, Widnes, and Mersey Road, Runcorn, and the fireworks will be set off at 7.30pm.
For safety reasons, the Silver Jubilee Bridge will be closed from 9am-9pm to all traffic. Pedestrians and cyclists will be able to use the footpath during the day, but this will close from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
A number of roads will be closed around both viewing areas from 5.30pm. There is no parking available at West Bank – however, car parking will be available at the Municipal Building, Caldwell Road and the Stadium, which are a 10-15 minute walk. The area around the Decks in Runcorn, including the footpath between Irwell Lane and Mersey Road will also be closed off to the public from 4pm. There will be no viewing on the Silver Jubilee Bridge.

Fire and Light Spectacular, Totally Wicked Stadium, St Helens
St Helens Council is sponsoring the light display at the Totally Wicked Stadium, on 4th and 5th November. Tickets are sold out for bonfire night but Saturday tickets are still available, at £8 for adults and £5 for children aged 11 and under.
There will be a packed offering of live entertainment from local artists including dancers, musicians and a DJ as well as the incredible laser light and pyrotechnics display. Children’s entertainment, face painting, inflatables and other activities will take place in the stadium concourses before the main entertainment begins on the pitch.
Tickets are priced at £8 for adults and £5 for children aged 11 and under. A family ticket that includes two adults and two 11 and under tickets is priced at £19.

Birkenhead Community Bonfire Night Event, Honeycomb House
Hosted by Bee Early Years, Birkenhead’s Community Bonfire Night event will be held at Honeycomb House from 5pm – 8pm on 5th November.
The event is free, but donation buckets will be available on the night. There will be a mobile bar, the Dough Bros will be serving pizza and there will be hotdogs, popcorn and candy flow from Platinum Parties.
Moreton Bonfire and Fireworks Night
The event at Moreton Hills Golf Centre will take place on 4th November from 4pm, with the display taking place at 8pm.
The bonfire will be lit as dusk falls with entertainment including axe throwing, live music, a children’s entertainer and bouncy castles.
Tickets are £8 for children and £10 for adults with a family tickets for two adults and two children priced at £30.
