Bars, restaurants and family days out are all in order this weekend in Liverpool.
It’s the second week of August and the changeable British summer time weather has well and truly kicked in. With sunshine, showers and temperatures in the early twenties forecast, we’re throwing caution into the wind and lining up some all weather bevvies this weekend in Liverpool.
Brollies and factor 50 at the ready! We’ve also lined up a couple of family friendly events and attractions to make some summer holidays memories too.
10 Nights out happening in Liverpool this weekend….
1Â – Fezzy Cross the Mersey
On Sunday afternoon you can experience a summer festival featuring top local musical talent, on board a Mersey Ferry. With the jaw-dropping Liverpool skyline providing an amazing backdrop, you’re invited to Fezzy Cross the Mersey with Anton Powers and co on the decks. More info here.
2 – Jazz & Martini Night, Tusk Baltic
Tusk Baltic offers up its Jazz & Martini Nights #3 on Friday night from 7pm. This will be a night filled with live music and mouth-watering Martinis. Your ticket includes a cocktail from the Martini menu and a taster selection of new cocktail creations. Info here.Â

5 – Gin Party, Bombed Out Church
More an all dayer than night out this one, but a must-do for all gin lovers. The Bombed Out Church/St Lukes is hosting its very own Gin Party this Friday and Saturday. There will be 25 boutique gins on offer plus your own glass to take home, live music and a fab atmosphere. Tickets here.Â
6 – The Uptown Monotones, McCooley’s Mathew Street

7 – Mercury & May Tribute Night, The Grapes
The Show Must Go On! The Grapes, Mathew Street is hosting a Freddie Mercury Tribute Night on Friday night from 8pm. For one night only, Freddie’s legacy lives on. Expect all the anthems, a full on sing along and a brilliant atmosphere. Info here.Â

9 – Late Night Sessions, Phase One
This weeks instalment of Late Night Sessions brings Smithdown Selects’ Ed Would to Phase One from 11pm. He is a staple at many a Liverpool garden including Constellations, Buyers Club and Meraki so it’s about time we got him in. Expect to hear anything with some rhythm and soulful vibe. Info here.Â

Our favourite Seel Street dive bar has revamped its hot hog menu and believe us when we say, they’ve got magical qualities these beauties. After all the indie sing alongs, the shots, the selfies in the bath and throwing shade graffiti on the walls, get your chops round The Baconator, The Chilli Cheese, The Grand Chien, The Chicago and more to line your stomach and swerve the hangover. 1 – Bionic Bugs, Martin Mere
