There might not be council organised fireworks displays in Liverpool city centre and Wirral’s parks this year but there are still lots of chances to enjoy bonfire night around Merseyside.
Here are 10 of the best fireworks displays in Liverpool City Region this November.
Pleasureland Southport, Day of the Dead
Friday 4th November, gates open 5.15pm, fireworks 8.45pm
A flavour of Mexico will come alive at Pleasureland, with spectacular entertainment galore.
For£10 you can enjoy a spectacular fireworks display, alongside a fantastic line-up of entertainment throughout the evening. From Mexican dancers to fire eaters.

Southport RFC, Waterloo Road, Southport
Friday 4th November, gates open 6pm, fireworks at 7.45pm
There will be Live Music, bouncy castles, a BBQ, sweet stall, bar and club kitchen.

Cricket Path, Formby
Saturday 5th November, gates open 6pm, fireworks at 7.30pm
Formby Scouts of St Peter’s Church in Formby are back with their Fireworks Spectacular and Bonfire Party.
This is a popular display so make sure you get their early but be warned there is no parking in the cricket club car park on the night.
There will be refreshments available to buy.
Adults £3, children £2, family ticket £10. Cash only.
Hightown Cricket Club, Thirlmere Road, Hightown, Liverpool
Saturday 5th November, gates open 6pm, fireworks 7.30pm
Local magician Andy Green will entertain the children from 6-7pm in the clubhouse before the bonfire is lit and fireworks light up the sky.
There will be hot and cold food available in the clubhouse, with a BBQ and ice cream van outside. The bar will also be open.
Please note there will be no parking in the main club car park

Waterloo Tennis Club, Park Road, Waterloo, Crosby
Saturday 5th November, gates open 5pm, fireworks at 6.45pm
Waterloo Tennis Club will be hosting a fireworks and bonfire night.
There will be hot food and drinks available on the night.
Cars must be parked on Park Road.
Tickets are £4 each and are available at Williamson’s Butchers or Gillions.
Prescot & Odyssey Cricket Club, Burrows Lane, Eccleston, St Helens
Friday 4th November, gates open 6pm, fireworks 7:30 pm
Join in the fireworks fun at this very popular display.
The bar will be open all night and there will be food available too. Due to high demands tickets and car parking must be booked n advance.
Adults £6, Children £4, family tickets (two adults and two children) £15.

Future Yard, Birkenhead, Argyle St, Birkenhead
Saturday 5th November, doors open at 5pm, fireworks 7.30pm
The Garden Fireworks Party will feature music from The Shipbuilders and Nikki and the Waves.
A full firework display will be launched from the garden with the Queensway Collective providing the soundtrack for the lightshow.
The garden bar will also be on hand throughout the evening.
Tickets are £5 with children under 16 free.

Hoylake Sailing Club, North Parade
Friday 4th November, Bonfire lit at 6.15pm, fireworks 7.15pm
Gather on the promenade to watch the annual bonfire and fireworks event at the sailing club.
The Club bar will be open from approximately 5pm and hot food and drinks will also be available including burgers and hot dogs.
There will be a collection on the evening for Hoylake and West Kirby RNLI.
Moreton Bonfire and Fireworks Show, Moreton Hills Golf Centre
Saturday 5th November, gates open 6pm, fireworks 8pm
The Moreton Bonfire and Fireworks show has entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.
As well as fireworks there will be hot food, a DJ, mini fair and axe throwing.

Tranmere Rovers, Prenton Park
Sunday 30th October, gates open 5.45pm, fireworks 7pm
The annual fireworks display at Prenton Park is held in association with Heswall Round Table.
Entertainment will be from the stars of the Gladstone Theatre’s Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs pantomime as well as the amazing dancers from Complete Works.
