11 Grand National brunches that we know about so far

It’s one of the biggest events of the year in Liverpool! In less than two months we will be  galloping towards the entrance of Aintree racecourse as it welcomes us back to the Randox Grand National. 

The Grand National is the world’s greatest steeplechase and all eyes will again be on Aintree for this year’s fabulous festival as it kicks off on Thursday, April 13 to Saturday, April 15. 

Restaurants and bars around the city will be buzzing with Raceday excitement, and you’re gonna have to book quick before you and your mates miss out. 

Take some inspiration from our list below get a boss brunch to line your stomach, and who would say no to a little glass (or two) of bubbles while you’re there.

Castle Street Townhouse

Join Castle Street Townhouse for the biggest fixture on the horse racing calendar! Start the day with a Champagne breakfast and enjoy a glass of Veuve Clicquot for ÂŁ10 or a bottomless breakfast for only ÂŁ30 (includes any breakfast item and unlimited Prosecco for one hour). Booth bookings are also available from 9pm for when you’re back in town!

Duke Street Market 

Duke Street Market

Join Duke Street Market for bottomless brunch before heading off to a day at the races via coach. Included is a brunch dish from one of their 6 independent kitchens, hash browns to share and 2 hours of bottomless Prosecco. 

At 12pm a coach will take you off to The Grand National at Aintree Racecourse, and bring you back to Liverpool, leaving Aintree at 7.15pm. You can then choose to dine with them at again or head off into town for the evening.

The Park Hotel

Enjoy champagne breakfast at The Park Hotel on Dunningsbridge Road. Choose between a full English or continental breakfast with a glass of bubbly! There will be transport arranged to get to the racecourse, and its all for just ÂŁ22 per person!

Malmaison

Not going the races? Then join the Malmaison for a fabulous afternoon of racing fun! Get dressed up and watch all the racing live from Aintree. There will even be a bottle of Champagne for the best dressed!

Guests will arrive at 1pm for glass of bubbly, followed by a delicious lunch (1 main course) and a traditional afternoon tea later that afternoon.

Enjoy live entertainment throughout the day, big screens to follow all the races, racing posts are also available and your table is yours until the last race!

The Brunch and Cocktail Club will be open from 8am on Thursday 13th, Friday 14th and Saturday 15th April, serving up all of your breakfast faves with options to go bottomless, if you wanna get the party started early, for ÂŁ25!

For a Caribbean twist on bottomless brunch, head to Royal Albert Dock’s resident rum cocktail bar and start the day’s celebrations with a Champagne Breakfast at Revolution de Cuba. 

For ÂŁ30pp, diners can enjoy 90 minutes of flowing fizz accompanied by a delicious brunch dish of choice, including a Cubano Benedict with pulled pork and poached eggs, a tastebud tantalising Breakfast Burrito or Chorizo Hash topped with a fried egg, to name a few.

Join Inside No.4, the friendly neighbourhood bar and restaurant located in Carnegie Avenue Crosby, 10am -12pm Thursday – Saturday, where you can get a brunch dish & glass of Prosecco or a pint for £15. They’ll also be showing the races all day too!

OneFiveSix, the hidden gem in the heart of Crosby, will be doing a special Ladies Day event over the Grand National Festival weekend with afternoon tea & entertainment after the races finish for ÂŁ20pp.

Gino’s restaurant at INNSiDE by Melia, Old Hall Street, have a bottomless brunch. Add 2 hours of bottomless drinks to any brunch dish for ÂŁ25!
