12 things to do in Liverpool this weekend
things to do in Liverpool this weekend

We’ve put together a list of some of the fantastic events you can attend this weekend, 14 – 15 October 2023.

There’s so many things to do in Liverpool this weekend. Why not enter the abandoned asylum at Newsham Scream Park… If you DARE! Take a stroll through the spooky woods at The Magical Woodland, or even catch an Elton John tribute.

Take a look here at these 12 boss events for a belter weekend in the city:

Happiness at Museum of Liverpool

The new exhibition is one of the most highly anticipated exhibitions to open in Liverpool. ‘Happiness!’, the first major exhibition on a comedian in a national museum, is steeped in Doddy’s unique blend of whimsical, physical, surreal and theatrical humour, which transformed the UK comedy scene.

Newsham Park abandoned hospital is now home of a new Halloween scare attraction from Friday 13 October.

The Victorian Grade II listed building was the site of a Seamen’s orphanage, hospital, asylum and nursing home.

Newsham Park abandoned hospital is a mecca for ghost hunters and spectral thrill seekers, with many claiming to have seen spirits, heard whispers or felt the touch of something cold on their spine. It is regularly cited as one of the UK’s most haunted buildings, stalked by those who used to govern it or be its unfortunate guests. Many believe its history has left an indelible presence lurking in the corners, emerging only at night.

And this Halloween, something truly terrifying will stalk the cursed corridors and decayed dormitories – Newsham Scream Park.
