things to do in Liverpool

We were loving Celebrating Bold Street over the weekend – and doing a cheeky fill-up on loads of amazing food samples! – now it’s all about what’s happening over the next week.

If you’re looking for inspiration, here are 12 things to do in Liverpool and the surrounding areas this week…

Southport Flower Show is on this weekend

Southport Flower Show is back at Victoria Park from Thursday to Sunday, which means a packed weekend of gorgeous gardens and floral displays, entertainment including a dog display team and birds of prey, food and drink, a huge shopping village plus celeb cooking demos from the likes of Masterchef’s John Torode and Lisa Faulkner, Phil Vickery, and Liverpool’s own Gabriella Margiotta.

Enjoy lunch at Gaucho

Gaucho on Water Street is already a firm favourite with anyone who knows their steak and you don’t have to wait until dinner to tuck into the tastiest cuts. The lunch menu is just as special, including sirloin or rump, or a fillet steak salad if you fancy something a bit lighter and summery (or you just want to leave room for the chocolate volcano dessert!)
