200 Degrees set to open a new coffee shop on Bold Street
1 year ago
In what will be its third shop opening since April 2023 and 21st overall, Bold Street in Liverpool is the latest location to be locked in by independent coffee roaster 200 Degrees.
This will also be its second shop in the city, with the Whitechapel outlet in the Met Quarter now well-established, having opened its doors in July 2019.
Bold Street is the perfect spot for a speciality coffee shop, as it’s already a popular, vibrant destination for Liverpool’s food and drink fans. Home to many exciting restaurants, cafes and bars, it features a good mix of chain and independent vendors. With the introduction of 200 Degrees to the mix, it’s now entirely possible for visitors to Bold Street to spend the whole day eating and drinking without having to move out of the postcode.
200 Degrees customers can expect freshly roasted coffee direct from the roastery, food made in-house every day, a cosy environment and a friendly hospitality team who will be ensuring customers receive the warmest coffee shop welcome.
200 Degrees MD Stephen Fern is keen to see the company build on its already strong reputation in the North West:
“In the last few years, we’ve really been made to feel at home in key locations like Liverpool, Manchester and Chester. Bringing better coffee to these cities and sharing our knowledge and passion through our barista schools in Chester and Manchester, has gained us the trust of the North West’s discerning coffee drinkers! We’re now in a position to increase our offering to the people of Merseyside with a coffee shop on one of the best streets for food and drink in the city.”
Work will begin shortly on the site at 17-19 Bold Street on the ground floor below the popular restaurant Bundobust. The new location is due to open by early November and recruitment has already begun, with new opportunities now available in various hospitality roles.
