5 reasons the Malmaison is the perfect place to kick off your Everton matchday
2 hours ago

The big day Blues fans have all been waiting for is finally here, the amazing new Hill Dickinson stadium is about to host the first Everton Premier League home game of the season.
And for pre-and-post match drinks and delicious food, Malmaison Liverpool gets the win.
If you’re heading to the game, it’s not just about 90 minutes of action on the pitch, you’ll want to make the most of the build-up and after too.
It’s time to make new Blue memories and that includes a new matchday routine. Here are 5 reasons why Malmaison Liverpool is the perfect place for matchday drinks and food…
It’s got a great location
The Mal is located at Princes Dock so it’s just a short distance from the stadium at Bramley Moore Dock. If you’re planning to walk to the game, there’s no need to waste time with a diversion, head to the Mal and it’s a straight route along the waterfront so it’s an ideal pitstop on the way to and from the ground.
It’s very family friendly
Matchday is an exciting experience for the whole family, generations of Blues all going together, so you want somewhere all ages feel welcome and can enjoy themselves. The Mal has a nice relaxed super-family friendly atmosphere and if you’re wanting a bite to eat before or after the game, it’s got a tasty kids menu including favourites like mini burger sliders and tomato and mozzarella pasta.
It has pre and post-match food and drink offers
The Mal’s menu has light bites to set you up for the game or for a post-match meal and there’s some brilliant food and drink offers just for fans. Go for one of the classic Mal burgers – with a spinach and falafel option for vegetarians – or fabulous pizzas fresh from the woodfired oven. If you fancy something lighter, there’s a selection of sandwiches and wraps too, as well as a choice of hot drinks. For two hours before and after the game, Match Day at Mal means Blues can get great deals like a pint of Cruz Campo for just £4.50, a glass of Prosecco for £6.00 and a pizza slice for £3.50 which is definitely a result!
It’s got all seasons covered
Every fan knows that you have to get used to all weathers when you go to the game, but the Mal has got you covered whatever matchday’s like. There’s a large outside terrace with gorgeous views of the water and Three Graces that’s a proper suntrap in spring/summer, and once it gets a bit colder, and probably wetter, you can just head inside where Chez Mal is always warm and welcoming.
There’s plenty of parking right next door
If you’re bringing the car into the city centre ahead of the game, you don’t need to drive around stressing about where to park. Liverpool Waters car park is right next door to the Mal so you can park up and get on with making the most of matchday.
