We’re gearing up to pick up some top tips from the pro chefs heading to Sefton Park this weekend.

Liverpool Food & Drink and Festival is more than just eating delicious food! With a wealth of top chefs making a beeline for Merseyside this weekend we’re hoping to pick up some top tips, some Instagram worthy selfies and maybe a new cookery book or two….as well as sample their Michelin-stared, top quality dishes!

Here’s 6 celeb chefs you can see at Liverpool Food & Drink Festival 2017 this weekend….

Gizzi Erskine

LFDF have chosen none other than celeb chef Gizzi Erskine to host its first ever launch event on Friday evening, Beauty and the Feast. Famous for her love of food, hosting Channel 4 series ‘Cook Yourself Thin’ and ‘Cookery School’ as well as her wicked style, Gizzi will be bringing an air of glamour to the 10th Anniversary celebrations. Find out more about the Beauty and the Feast event and get tickets here.

2 – Hairy Bikers

No stranger to hopping on their bikes to sample world cuisine, the Hairy Bikers, Si Hall and Dave Myers will be roaring into Sefton Park on Saturday to cook up a storm. Having launched their most recent book, ‘The Hairy Dieters Go Veggie’, Si and Dave will be showing you how to create some of their favourite dishes, as well as signing copies of the book and having a natter in a live Q&A with our Jay Hynd too. We wonder if Simon will be in sequins and spandex ahead of his Strictly Come Dancing debut? Get your tickets for The Simon Rimmer Show at LFDF 2017 here.

4 – Nisha Katona

The Queen of Indian Street Food, Nisha Katona will be joining Simon Rimmer on Saturday to chat about Mowgli, her favourite dishes and hopefully show visitors how to recreate some of the dishes we’ve become obsessed with here on Merseyside. Nisha, a regular on ITV’s Lorraine, is also a successful author and has inspired a whole new wave of Indian Street food fans. Get your tickets and see her live on Saturday here.

5 – Gary Usher

Chef Gary Usher is absolutely flying with his north west based restaurants including Sticky Walnut in Cheshire and most recently WreckFish, right here in Liverpool. With a stellar reputation for turning out exquisite plates of food that delight diners, while juggling social media accounts, having a laugh with his teams and continually growing his brand, he’s somehow managing to find time to perform a number of demo’s at LFDF 2017 on Sunday. All the details here.

6 – Anton Piotrowski

Former winner of BBC’s MasterChef: The Professionals and owner of Kickstarter restaurant campaign, Roski, here in Liverpool, Anton Piotrowski is also flexing his culinary skills in the Liverpool Food & Drink Festival demo tent with pigeon wellington and a sumptuous carrot cake. Famed for his take on eclectic British cooking, Anton is sure to wow the crowds on Sunday with these classic dishes with a twist. Demo times and info here.
