HERE’S 6 WAYS TO SPEND A SNOWY SUNDAY ON MERSEYSIDE…..
1 – SLEDGING & SNOW ANGELS ACROSS MERSEYSIDE
When the snow falls, scouse families and friends head to the region’s parks, laden down with sledges, bin lids, pretty much anything that will send you hurtling down the hill with a big smile on your face. We love Camp Hill, Otterspool, Sefton Park, Everton Brow and Vale Park Wallasey for snow fun. Expect rosy cheeks and plenty of laughs! Click here for our best winter walk ideas.
2 – HOT CHOCOLATE IN THE SUBURBS
Had a lovely long walk around Sefton Park in the snow? Why not head to Lark Lane for a luxury hot chocolate at Milo’s Lounge, Arabesque Bistro or glass of red at Keith’s? Or wander down to Allerton Road and stop in at Three Piggies (dogs welcome too), brand new eatery 109 Allerton or Verdant for a rich, warming coffee or cuppa.
for the top city centre hot chocolate outlets that we’ve tried and tested!
3 – SUNDAY ROAST LOVE
You can’t beat a belting Sunday Roast on a snowy day and Liverpool is bursting with Yorkshire pudding and gravy loveliness. With winter menus now on offer plus cheeky bowls of scouse too, why not treat the family to dinner out? We’re loving Marco Pierre White’s, Titanic’s traditional Sunday roast, the phenomenal eats at Red’s True BBQ and The Club House hanging turkey kebabs with cranberry glaze! 4 – MOVIE DAY
Not everyone is into mucking about in the snow so how about grabbing some munchies and enjoying a movie instead? Our resident film buff, Alex has lined up the very best of the releases to watch this year, perfect for a chilly/snow day on Merseyside. Click here to check out the line up.
