7 reasons you need to try Splash Tours Liverpool

Advertorial

Liverpool’s got a brand-new attraction and like always in our fab and fun city – it’s a little bit different.

Splash Tours Liverpool isn’t asking you to get on board a boat.  It isn’t suggesting you step inside a bus.

It’s inviting you to join them on an exciting new trip around town on land AND water!

Co-founder of Splash Tours, Ed Lumley says: “I’ve been in love with Liverpool from a young age and it’s been a dream to bring our tours to this great city.

“We’re hoping our Splash Tours vehicle will be a much-loved feature for many years, and I can’t wait to share it with the people of Liverpool and its visitors.”

And here’s 7 reasons why you need to take Ed up on his offer:

Be like James Bond

It was Roger Moore who emerged from the water in a car that transformed into a submarine in the Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me. Don’t worry, Splash Tours doesn’t go under the water, but it does go ON the water and ON the roads in a state-of-the-art amphibious vehicle which can move seamlessly from one to the other.

Best of both worlds

There are boat tours and bus tours of the city which are great ways to learn about, and see more of, Liverpool, but Splash Tours is the only one that offers you the chance to do both on one journey on its ‘Seahorse’. It’s an exhilarating one-hour tour that combines road and water, with a live fun and informative commentary throughout.

Family fun

There’s a different vibe on the Splash Tour because it’s not just fun – it’s really exciting.  And the kids especially will love the chance to tour the city and add a bit of an adventure into the bargain as they brace themselves for an unforgettable splashdown into the Royal Albert Dock.

See all the landmark sights

Liverpool’s got loads of iconic buildings and sites and Splash Tours offers the chance to see most, with St George’s Hall, Liverpool Cathedral, and the Royal Liver Building among those on its exciting journey. Plus, because you go into the water, you get the chance to see the famous waterfront from two very different perspectives.

Handy pick-up and drop-off

The tours are circular so you can get picked up and dropped off at the same place, and handily it’s the Royal Albert Dock. The exact place is Salthouse Quay – Liverpool, L3 4AN – and you can easily find it by just putting Splash Tours Liverpool into Google Maps on your phone.

Brilliant value

Splash Tours start from £17 per person and under-twos go free.  There’s even a family ticket that saves you money at only £74.50 for two adults and two children.

Safety first

You’re in good, safe hands! Splash Tours Liverpool is run by Ed and his family who’ve been operating a similar attraction in Windsor for more than 10 years.  Its manufacturing arm, Seahorse Amphibious, is the only company in Europe to build and operate its own amphibious vehicles – and they’ve got a combined 40 years’ experience between them.
