There's a huge Eurovision party happening at Camp & Furnace this weekend

A spectacular sold-out Eurovision party is being hosted in Liverpool for one night only.

The event comes complete with fancy dress and themed cocktails, and is taking place at Camp and Furnace in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle.

It is the only Eurovision event being hosted in the city and revellers will celebrate the international music extravaganza in cheesy style on socially-distanced tables.

This year’s musical sing-off is set to take place in Rotterdam on May 22 and will be watched by millions of people around the world – including more than 220 party-goers inside Camp and Furnace on a big screen.

A host of weird and wonderful artists from across the continent are set to compete in order to be crowned Eurovision champions of 2021.

Camp and Furnace will play host to an event reminiscent of the main show featuring flags galore, lots of glitter, sparkle and vibrant entertaining campness.

“We’re really excited to welcome people back for our famous Eurovision Watch Party and to see the incredible fancy dress efforts that arrive each year,” said director Paul Speed.

“It is always one of the most anticipated nights of the year and we were obviously unable to host it last year – so we’ve made sure this one is bigger and better than ever!

“We hope everybody is ready to party in the name of Eurovision.”

The UK haven’t won the competition since 1997, when Katrina and the Waves claimed victory.

And this year’s entrant, BRIT Award-winning songwriter James Newman, is typically an underdog but he will no doubt gain vociferous support from people in the UK including those attending the lively party from 7pm to 2am at the iconic Baltic Triangle venue.

Camp and Furnace is a huge venue, so events can always be enjoyed in a socially-distanced, safe and spacious way.
