Reflecting on the moment from many years ago, Mike McCartney, brother of Sir Paul McCartney says:
âThose were the days!..when our kid & his mates were practising their music, there as sweating support to Acker Bilk on a packed âRoyal Iris Riverboat Shuffleâ & me practising photography, trying to get a decent shot in the crowd with my twin lens Rollei Magic camera..magic days!”
Mersey Ferriesâ links to the fab five donât stop there, did you know that Sir Peter Blake who created the Mersey Ferriesâ Dazzle Ferry design, the only operating Dazzle ship in the Uk, also created The Beatlesâ famous Sgt. Pepperâs Lonely Hearts Club Band album cover.
