The North West Cancer Research Christmas Bazaar is moving to Chester Racecourse for 2022

North West Cancer Research is bringing its iconic two-day Christmas shopping event, previously named the Wirral Bazaar, to Chester Racecourse this November.

For the past 32 years, the annual shopping spectacular has been held in the Walled Garden Marquee at Thornton Manor on the Wirral, attracting 3,500 visitors every year and raising an incredible £550,000 since it began. 

This year, the Christmas Bazaar has moved to Chester Racecourse. It will take place on 1^st and 2^nd November and offer the public the chance to browse over 40 different stalls, selling a wide variety of unique Christmas presents.  

Held in the County Stand of the historic racecourse, the handpicked stalls will be offering gifts such as handcrafted jewellery, cashmere clothing, silk and leather accessories, high-quality books, art and stationery, and clothing.  

Opening its doors at 2pm and carrying on into the evening on Tuesday 1^st November, the Bazaar will start at 9.30am on Wednesday 2^nd to accommodate those who would prefer to do their shopping during the day.  

Each stallholder will donate 10% of their profits to the regional Charity, which funds life-saving research and education to tackle the cause, improve the care and find the cure for cancer.  

Visitors will be asked to pay a £5 entry fee which goes directly to the Charity and can enjoy refreshments and entertainment across the two days. Free parking is available onsite.

This year’s Christmas Bazaar will take place at the County Stand at Chester Racecourse on Tuesday 1^st November from 2pm-8:30pm and Wednesday 2^nd November from 9:30am-3pm.
