Madre’s outside space has launched for summer
When the sun’s out, it’s time to get the margaritas out and there’s no better place to enjoy one – with a taco or two obviously – than outside Madre in Anchor Courtyard at the Albert Dock. There are loads of veggie options and from Easter Monday they’re open every day from midday.

Tainted Love at Camp and Furnace
Looking for some 80s pop tunes to make your weekend? Head to Camp and Furnace on Good Friday because they’ve got the Tainted Love 80s night with all the hits from Blondie to Bowie, Madonna, Spandau and Duran and Duran, a live band, dancers and giant Rubik’s cubes!

This has got to be one of the best rooftop spaces in the whole city and it’s back open just in time for the long weekend – Goodness Gracious, above Oh Me Oh My and facing the Liver Buildings, is a perfect spot for cocktails, from 12noon, weather permitting.

Bombed Out Church Bar is back
Speaking of outdoor bevs, that’s gins, beers and cocktails, as well as some lovely food, the Garden Bar and Café is back open in the grounds of the Bombed Out Church and it’s a top sunny pick, open Thurs-Mon, plus there’s an Easter Egg trail on over the weekend for kids.

The DJ legend that is John Cotton is reliving some amazing memories and returning to the Church Room at GBar on Easter Sunday for the first time in years so it’s one not to be missed. From 11pm-4am, Andy Mac’s doing the first hour then it’s JC for the next four.

Just along the road, on Stanley Street, Anton Powers is in charge at the Navy Bar for a very special Easter Sunday night of funky house. He’ll have support from residents Andy Mc and Pete West and live dancers taking the party through from 10pm to 4am.
