The outdoor venue has got to be one of the most unique locations in the city, with tables surrounding the landmark St Luke’s Church.

The Bombed Out Church Garden Bar & Café is opening up again on Friday March 31, ahead of a whole programme of Easter activities and workshops for all the family.

Since the bar first launched, in Spring of 2020, it’s become a massive favourite for collaborations with local food and drink brands.

Revenue from the Garden Bar & Café goes to a good cause, helping The Bombed Out Church to do more cultural events and work with the community.

The bar will be serving a variety of drinks including gins, beers, and cask ales – there’ll even be a range of summery spritz’s and special cocktails too!

As for food, the café will be home to different traders each week such as Dough Bro’s which specialists in Neapolitan style pizzas, Peckish and Wong Dumplings so every weekend will have a fresh menu to try out.

So it looks like we can get excited to seeing a packed garden again – especially when the sun is shining!

Sarah-Louise Jones, venue co-ordinator at The Bombed Out Church, said:

“The Bombed Out Church Garden & Café is such a unique and beautiful space and our staff genuinely care about this amazing venue.

“It’s so important to us that this landmark site provides good quality Liverpool hospitality, right from the moment a guest walks in, and our motto from day one has been to offer top quality friendly service whilst also respecting the venue for what it means to so many. We consider it an honour to welcome visitors through the gates and can’t wait for the season ahead.

“The Garden Bar & Café also financially supports the delivery of The Bombed Out Church’s cultural community programme, as well as the development of the site as an inner city green space for everyone to enjoy.”

Opening times:

Friday 31 March: 4.00pm – late.

Saturday 1 April:12.00pm – late.

Sunday 2 April: from 12.00pm – 8.00pm.

It’s perfect timing if you’ve got kids too because the Bombed Out Church has an Easter Egg Trail and workshops on Saturday and Sunday between 12.00pm and 4.00pm.
