Make a splash at Liverpool Watersports Centre for Eurovision

Get ready to ride the waves of excitement this summer as Local Solutions Liverpool Watersports Centre joins the Eurovision fever taking over Liverpool!

As Eurovision approaches, the spirit of unity and cultural exchange it embodies is in full swing. At Liverpool Watersports Centre, they’re excited to welcome people and families from all over the world to experience their range of accessible Watersport activities.

Located at the iconic Queens Dock, Liverpool Watersports Centre is a not-for-profit organization and part of the charity Local Solutions. Their mission is to make watersports accessible to everyone by offering a range of affordable activities for both individuals and groups.

As the centre prepares to welcome visitors, super fans, artists, and media from across the globe, there’s an unmistakable buzz in the air.

Liverpool Watersports Centre offers a wide range of activities, including paddleboarding, open-water swimming, power boating, kayaking and canoes, and an impressive Aqua Park.

The aqua park boasts 12 pieces of equipment, including a catapult swing, water trampolines, slides, monkey bars, a spinning rocket and big slides, plus a see-saw and various climbing apparatus. It’s open now and will remain so throughout the summer months, with money from ticket sales invested back into Local Solutions, so its charitable work across the Liverpool City Region and North Wales can continue.

Local Solutions are a major charity who have operated across Merseyside and North Wales for almost 50 years, driven by a vision for a society where all people can live with dignity, lead fulfilled lives and realise their full potential. Their mission is to empower people and support communities, which they do through work in social care, support and accommodation plus community endeavours.

A major aspect of this support is provided through the not-for-profit Liverpool Watersports Centre, which the charity leases from the Canal & River Trust, and all proceeds from activities go back into directly funding the incredible work Local Solutions do across their vast array of services.
