Liverpool Charity, The Women's Org, fights for female leaders.

The new game-changing skills road show that The Women’s Org is delivering, this September, is designed to empower female leaders.

Liverpool charity, The Women’s Organisation, is delivering a Women in Leadership Skills Road Show designed to be an industry game-changer.

In the UK, research from PwC and PfC shows that women currently occupy 31% of leadership roles, and while this is an improvement on 2022’s stat of 29%, there is still a long way to go.

The Skills Road Show is taking steps to move forward in that journey, focusing on actionable insights so that women in business can gain the practical skills and knowledge necessary for effective leadership.

Taking place in September, diversity and inclusion will be at the forefront of the agenda for the Road Show, as the equality charity is well versed in the ways this drives effective leadership and innovation.

Maggie O’Carroll, CEO at The Women’s Organisation, said:

“This Road Show has been carefully curated to empower women to thrive in leadership roles. All attendees will be able to enjoy their experience in a welcoming setting with opportunities to network, collaborate and learn from their peers.

“We understand the crucial importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace in terms of improving performance and nurturing key talent. This Road Show has this theme running throughout, underpinning the learning, and equipping Liverpool City Region’s leaders with the skills and confidence they need to keep pushing our business community forward.”

The Road Show takes place across Liverpool City Region, with different dates in September available to attend in different boroughs. For more information, head to their Eventbrite page.

The Women’s Organisation was established in 1996 and has supported over 80,000 women and helped to create more than 5,000 businesses, generating impact through employment, enterprise and wellbeing support; business incubation; programme management; consultancy; and research and influence.
