Merseyside Police have said that an investigation into the deaths of Mr and Mrs Marco remains ongoing.
Mr and Mrs Marco died days before their 54th wedding anniversary when their black Mercedes drove into floodwater in Queens Drive in the Mossley Hill area of Liverpool, at about 9.20pm last Saturday, August 26.

The court heard emergency services were first called by members of the public at 9.22pm reporting a vehicle submerged in water on the road going under the railway bridge with people believed to be in the vehicle.
The inquest was opened and adjourned earlier today, Friday 1 September.
In a statement, the Marco family said:
“On behalf of the Marco family, we would like to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to the emergency services and members of the public who came to the assistance of our beloved Elaine and Philip.Â
“The messages of support and the kind gestures we have received from our family, friends, and the wider Liverpool community will be forever appreciated.
“Elaine and Philip were the most loving, generous and kindhearted parents and grandparents and we are shocked and heartbroken with their sudden passing under such tragic circumstances. May their memory be a blessing.
