As Autumn nears it’s time to look out for the new venues and stores to celebrate with friends or stock up for Christmas. Liverpool city centre’s high streets welcome a few new signings, see independents expand and welcome a historic name to the retail heartland.

Haute Dolci, Bold Street

For those with a sweet tooth find your favourite new haunt on Bold Street. Opulently styled with a decadent menu, Haute Dolci offers a wide variety of desserts, brunch, cocktails and treats. The restaurant, created by Heavenly Desserts founder Nizam Mohamed, moves into the former Waterstones building.
