The Lake House in Waterloo unveils its new Autumn/Winter menu
1 year ago
The Lake House in Waterloo is thrilled to unveil its new autumn/winter menu, a host of seasonal events, brand new heated outdoor huts, new outside food stations and amazing news that new lighting has been installed across the park from The Lake House up to South Road making it much easier to visit now that the darker evenings have arrived.
The new autumn/winter menu has been developed by the talented chefs at The Lake House and uses the best seasonal produce to create heart-warming dishes perfect for the colder months.
The beef cheek Bolognese is definitely a star of the show and the brand-new grill section offers a tasty range of steaks and burgers all served with fries and salad.
The stand out dessert has to be chef Jess’s sticky toffee pudding that is served with the most delicious dark rum caramel sauce, the perfect way to end any meal.
The Lake House Sunday Roast has also had a revamp and the all-new menu includes black treacle and coffee rump of beef, garlic and truffle roast chicken or lemon and thyme roasted cauliflower all served with sauteed greens, roast potatoes and of course Yorkshire puddings.
In addition to the new menu that will be served in the restaurant, The Lawn at The Lake House is currently having brand-new heated huts built which will be the perfect stop off point for winter walks with friends and family.
The huts have been designed so guests can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Crosby marina while staying snug and warm. The Lawn will also have brand new food stations serving up delicious street food with a festive twist and winter warming drinks.
With all of these new additions Christmas at The Lake House is set to be magical and fun for all the family. There is a full festive calendar of events including a gift-wrapping workshop, festive afternoon tea and Santa Soirees so there is definitely something for everyone at The Lake House this Christmas.
Tyra Leeming, the General Manager of The Lake House, said:
“We are really excited for all the plans we have, the whole team has been working hard on pulling everything together and the new menu is really special. The outdoor huts and new food stations are the perfect addition to the lawn area for the winter months and we are so happy to have the new lighting up to South Road as our guests have been asking about this since we opened.”
