Everyone loves an Easter Egg Hunt, it’s the best fun thing to do with kids over the Bank Holiday weekend (if you don’t count just sitting and eating them all!).
So, if you fancy getting out to track some down, here are 8 Easter Egg Hunts to take the kids to this Easter …
Harry the Hare Easter Trail
Until Friday April 5, hop along the Harry the Hare Easter Trail created by Liverpool BID Company and Bluecoat Display Centre. Pick up a map at the centre – or download one from BID’s website – go around the city centre finding hare-themed artwork and collecting eggs and you could win a BDC gift voucher or a handcrafted chocolate hare designed by sculptor Emma Rodgers and made by The Chocolate Cellar.

Dinormous Egg Hunt in Southport
Little dinosaur fans can turn into Dino Rangers for the day and take on a roar-some challenge to find 3ft-high dinosaur chocolate eggs in locations around Southport. The hunt is happening as part of DinoTown Southport, which will see brick-built dinosaurs and free themed activities happening in the town centre between March 29 and April 14.

Speke Hall Easter Trail
Head to Speke Hall between now and April 5, 10.30am to 3.30pm, and you can join an Easter Trail and find 10 nature-inspired activities for the whole family in the Hall’s gorgeous gardens and estate. It’s normal admission plus ÂŁ3 per trail, which includes a chocolate egg, or a vegan free-from chocolate egg, made using cocoa from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms.

Chester Zoo’s Easter Trail
There’s more than just your regular Easter Bunny on the loose on Chester Zoo’s Easter Trail – how about hunting for giant animal eggs? Complete the challenge and you can collect a freesweet treat as a reward from the gift shop. There’ll also be a golden egg hidden each day until April 14 with a surprise prize inside, with clues on social media and the website.

Lock & Quay Easter Fun Day
Lock & Quay in Bootle is having a big Easter Fun Day for all the family on Easter Sunday from 1pm to 3pm. They’re going to be having their annual Easter Egg Hunt including the elusive golden egg to find, a cute petting zoo courtesy of Boo’s Mobile Zoo and some Easter crafts. It’s free entry, no tickets needed.

Church Farm, Wirral – Easter Egg Hunt
Church Farm park is reopening for the season and to get things off to a great start, it’s launching with an Easter Egg Hunt which runs from Good Friday until April 14. Armed with an Easter activity pack, you can make your way around the farm to find and solve egg-themed clues, win a choccy prize once you finish and have a go at games along the way including a Beat the Bunny footy challenge.

World of Glass St Helens Easter Treasure Trail
On Easter Saturday, World of Glass in St Helens has a chance for kids aged five to 10 to do something different by joining a Mini Easter Treasure Hunt. All they have to do is hunt down 12 little keepsakes which have been hidden around the museum. There’ll also be glass Easter Egg blowing over the school holidays plus a Supersized Easter Egg Decoration Workshop on April 12.

Easter Egg Hunt & litter pick in Woolton Village
If you want to go on an Easter Egg Hunt and do some good at the same time, head to Woolton Village on Easter Saturday where Rubbish Friends of Woolton has added a chocolate element to its usual community clean-up. As well as collecting litter, everyone taking part can look out for some tasty eggs hidden around the collection area. 11am to 12.30pm, meet outside Lodes Pond/Woolton Tuition.
